The mission of excitech is to raise awareness of technological developments so we can make better decisions as a society.

I’ve been keenly interested in technology since the mid-’90s, but AI really came onto my radar after I read Tim Urban’s The AI Revolution: The Road to Superintelligence in 2016.

My interest in the subject only intensified after the release of DALL·E 2 in the summer of 2022, and since then I’ve spent countless hours studying the field—reading, writing, and building.

I have a background as a journalist and entrepreneur, having covered AI for national Danish outlets such as Børsen, Videnskab.dk, and Weekendavisen. My work has also been featured in Puls Biznesu (Poland) and mentioned in Bild (Germany), Europe’s largest newspaper. I was previously a co-founder at the media startup Den Uafhængige (acquired in 2023).

The name excitech reflects that I am fundamentally excited about technology, while holding on to journalism’s critical sense.
